Paolo Giorgio Bassi has a degree in sociology at the Unversity of Trento.
His path continued with studies in physics and business administration between France and USA.
In 1978 Paolo Giorgio Bassi began his consulting work with the major international Management Consulting companies, including Mac Group of Boston (USA), of which he was partner until 1992.
International experience led him towards strategic, financial and organizational consulting, related to the reorganization of large groups (in particular the Montedison Group) and the development of new business projects between Italy, France and United States.
In his consultant role has deepened especially the development of the internationalization of European companies, following foreign acquisitions, mergers between companies from different countries and financial transactions, in connection with the major banks of Europe and US.
The approach to the area of financial strategy has allowed Paolo Giorgio Bassi to cultivate collaborations with Merrill Lynch and Fortress, following their operations in Italy, Germany and United States.
As President of the Banca Popolare di Milano has dedicated himself thoroughly to the international banking and financial sector.
He had the honor of teaching as a professor of Economics and Business Administration until 2006 for the Degree in Computer Science, at the Faculty of Mathematical Physical and Natural Sciences, University of Milano Bicocca.
With his extensive experience, in 2005 he founded CAF, a company positioned at the highest level in the area of managing non performing loans.
